Gladiatorial because it was a battle to drag ourselves out of a very warm and cosy futon this morning, and gladiatorial because it reminds *Shutterflutter of the film Gladiator.

 I can't decide if the sun burst actually adds anything to the image or not!?! When i scroll down to just below it, the image turns into a great Pano; just a thought. -- "Obsessed by a fairytale, we spend our lives searching for a magic door and a lost kingdom of peace." - no idea who wrote this originally, but i found quoted on `Myangelofmusic's page.. Many thanks from this side of the world! It was a wonderful day - a day to remember. A day captured in a picture - priceless.

What a poetic response! I really do love that idea of the perfect day and everything that comes with it. It's one of the very few things i have complete faith in. I'm looking at it again and it really is one of the best photos on deviantART. I'm going to favourite it.

Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
