Reflectionby =voh2007CommentsDevious CommentsI take on board your comments Neil. After a good few years messing in photography I refuse to use Auto, i cant stand it to be honest. What I do find amazing really is we have all these fancy cameras that are suppose to do wonders yet we spend hours in front of the computer trying to make them look good, hmm somethings not quite right here lol. Your right about ISO settings I should play around with those a bit more, but the few times I have changed it people have commented that I should use 200 lol so I gave up changing. I will get there eventually.
Don't worry about hurting peoples feelings with comments, I'm known at work for saying what I think and to hell with what others think lol 9 times out of 10 its the only way of getting an honest answer and places like DA all you ever read is "lovely shot" "love the colours" when in actual fact they want to say its a pile of crap lol. So you comment away mate -- |
If I could suggest anything start off using Auto settings, build up your confidence again and then when you are achieving some higher quality material, start fiddling and faffing about with all the fun stuff you have at your disposal ok. I have noticed the ISO at 200 for alot of your shots - experiment a bit.
It's hard not to hurt people's feelings when you comment and make suggestions on what you think people are getting wrong, but I hope I haven't!
